Membership


What Seasonal Membership products are available to me?

A. Membership means more choice, so there are great products available.


Gold – Much more than a replacement for your old seasoncard, this membership puts you in control. You’ll see every home Premier League game and have the option to add the extra benefits that are important to you. It’s your City, your way.

Platinum – Go Platinum and earn double loyalty points on all applicable purchases. That will put you at the front of the queue for the most unmissable games. You can do the double for just £50 extra.

Superbia – The ultimate Membership offers the best benefits for the biggest supporters, including a ticket for every game in every competition. However, only a chosen few will be invited to join. Are you fan enough?


Value Gold – A limited number of Value Gold Memberships will be available to buy from 1st June. They will be offered at a very special price and will give you the same benefits as Gold membership, the only difference is we will choose where you sit within the Stadium. Value Gold will only be available over the phone. If you’re looking for fantastic value, with optional benefits, then Value Gold is the membership for you.


Sounds great, how do I buy one?

A. You can buy any of the new membership products in the following ways:


  • At the Stadium Ticket Office, Open Mon – Sat, 9:00am to 5:30pm, Sun/Bank Holiday, 11:00am to 5:00pm. No booking fee applies.
  • Over the telephone by calling 0161 444 1894 (option 1) open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Please note a booking fee of £2.50 will apply to each membership purchase.
  • Online at www.mcfc.co.uk. No booking fee applies.

Can I add benefits to my Membership during the season?

A. You can join the Cup Scheme(s) at any time as long as it is before the first match in the relevant Cup competition takes place. You cannot add a cup scheme to your membership once a particular Cup competition has started.

If you are a Gold member and wish to subscribe to either online editions of MANC Magazine and Match Programmes, you need to do this at the time you purchase your seasonal Gold membership.


Will I keep my current MCFC supporter number?

A. Yes there will. All existing members should renew by 26th June (or if relocating by 2nd July). On 5th July, any remaining seasonal Memberships will be offered to new supporters at an increased price.

Existing members who fail to renew on or before 26th June will be required to pay the increased price. So please make sure you renew before the end of June. DON’T MISS OUT!


Payment and Pricing


How can I pay?
A. We’ve made it as easy as possible. You can use all major debit and credit cards (unfortunately, we do not accept American Express), and we do not charge a fee for using credit cards. You can also pay by cash or cheque. If you prefer to spread the cost, our friends at Zebra Finance will be more than happy to help with a loan. What is the Finance option?

A. The finance option allows you to spread the cost of your membership by obtaining a loan from Zebra Finance. The loan will only cover the basic membership cost and you will not be able to increase the loan to cover the cost of additional products such as seasonal car parking or, for the purchase by Gold members, of Emanc or the online Match Programme.


Who qualifies for reduced pricing?

A. Lots of people. The following categories qualify:

  • Junior (Under 16)
  • 16-17 years
  • 18-21 years
  • Senior’s (65 & over)
  • Disabled

Your age on 1st August 2011 determines which category applies to you.


If I purchase a Gold Membership, do I have the option to upgrade to Platinum Membership during the season?

A. Unfortunately no. You will need to choose your preferred Membership during the seasonal renewal process.

Once the renewal window has closed on 26th June (or if relocating on 2nd July), you will not be able to change your Membership tier during the season.


Will there be a difference in price between existing Membership renewals and first-time buyers?

A. Yes there will. All existing members should renew by 26th June (or if relocating by 2nd July). On 5th July, any remaining seasonal Memberships will be offered to new supporters at an increased price.

Once I’ve paid for my new Membership, when will I get it?

A. Your excitement is understandable, but it will take us a few weeks to process your membership card and test it at the relevant access points in the Stadium. You should receive your new membership pack by the end of July.


If my age takes me into a different price category during the season, what price will I pay for Cup games and Away games?

A. Simple. For home Cup games and Away games the price you pay will depend on your age at the time the game takes place. So, for example, a junior who turns 16 during the season will pay the published price in the next category up (16-17).


Relocating


We currently sit in the Family Stand but no longer have any juniors in our party. What will happen?
A. Unfortunately, you will be required to move elsewhere in the Stadium, as you no longer meet the criteria to remain in the Family Stand.

We will shortly be sending you a letter to explain this in more detail. You will have the opportunity to move your seats during the exclusive relocation window between 29th June and 3rd July. If you do not wish to wait for the exclusive relocation window, you may also select any other available seat in the stadium from 7th June.


When can I move or relocate my seasonal seat?
A. Everyone likes a change occasionally, so we understand that you may wish to move your seat for the upcoming season.

Here’s how to do it:

If you just want to select your new Membership product and renew your seasonal seat in your existing seat position, you can do so between 7th June and 26th June. If you do not wish to wait for the exclusive relocation window, you may also select any other available seat in the stadium at this time.

If you do not wish to renew your seat in its current location, or select an available alternative seat, you should renew your seat as normal - to ensure you are guaranteed a seasonal seat for the season - and then take advantage of our relocate window (see below) to purchase an alternative seat.

Once all existing members have renewed their seat in their existing seat position, there will be an exclusive relocation period between 29th June and 2nd July. This is when you will have the opportunity to select your new Membership product and purchase any available seat in the stadium.

Once renewal and relocations have been completed, any remaining seasonal seats will be offered to new members from 5th July.


Car Parking


Is seasonal car parking available at the stadium?
A. Yes, and you will have the opportunity to purchase a seasonal car park pass in our North Car Park when you renew or purchase your membership. If purchasing online, you will be able to select this option before you complete your purchase.

If purchasing over the phone or in person, please ask the Ticket Sales Executives who will be happy to help.


Loyalty points and Auction points


What happens to the loyalty points I accrued on my old Seasoncard?
A. Don’t worry, you won’t lose a single loyalty point. They will all be automatically transferred from you old Seasoncard to your new Gold, Platinum or Superbia Membership.


What are Auction Points and how do I use them?
A. Auction points are an exciting new benefit for all existing and new members. You will be awarded one credit for every pound spent with the Club on Memberships, tickets, online retail, car parking, hospitality and special events. You can then use these credits to bid for money-can’t-buy experiences and memorabilia on a new members-only auction site.

Cup scheme


What is the Cup Scheme?
A. With Gold and Platinum membership you get your seat for all Premier League home games. To make sure you don’t miss any of our domestic or European home cup games, we have developed cup schemes for the FA Cup, Carling Cup and Europe. You can join any, or all, of the schemes free of charge but you must join the relevant scheme(s) before the first match in that particular Cup competition takes place.

When you join the scheme(s) you provide us with debit/credit card details. We simply debit you card prior to the game and activate your membership card to allow you entry for the fixture. Easy as that.

You will automatically receive any loyalty points not to mention capped ticket prices for the domestic cup competitions up to, but not including, the quarter finals and priority for final tickets. They’re great benefits, so make sure you don’t miss out.


If I join the Cup Scheme, will I be able to keep my usual seat for all the home cup games?

A. We will try our best, but unfortunately, due to certain stadium configuration changes deemed necessary by the Club, and the rules, regulations and requirements of the competitions in which the Club participates, we cannot guarantee that your usual seat will be available for every home cup game.

If your seat isn’t available, we will give you an sales period to select an alternative seat before they go on sale to other Membership holders who are not registered in the Cup Scheme


I don’t wish to join the Cup Scheme, but I am planning to attend as many home cup games as possible. As a seasonal member, will I be able to keep my usual seat for all the home cup games?
A. Only if it is available as your seasonal seat is not reserved or guaranteed and will be available to Superbia and Gold/Platinum Cup Scheme members who need to select alternative seats. All Gold and Platinum members will then have a sales period to select their seasonal seat or an alternative seat before they go on sale to non-seasonal members..
